It was really well thought out setup, with all the nice little touches you need after a long day out, plus the fresh eggs from the owners farm were delicious! The rooms were all clean and comfortable and a good base for exploring the peninsula. Kids loved seeing the animals in the working farm.

It's a beutiful farm situated in such a gorgeous valley with mouintains, sheeps and little lake. The nature itself is an experience you will never forget. And the silence around it's so calming. The accomodation itself is very nice too, comfortable and clean. Only regret is that we didn't ask if we can cuddle the sheeps. They were so cute...

Location is awesome. We were lucky to be able to stay in one of the two separate cabins and we were extremely lucky with the weather so that we could enjoy memorable sunsets just right in front of the Kirkjufell . In my opinion the place is way much better from what you see in the photos. So if spending a couple of days in the Snaefellness peninsula consider Sudur as your best option.

A great location for exploring the peninsula. It is well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals, and relax. It was our mid-week stop so being able to do some laundry was a bonus.

Guests can make use of a garden. Marbakki was a very beautiful, secluded property. My family and I loved the design of the house - it was very cozy and made us feel right at home. The villa had a lot of great touches including a well stocked kitchen (various spices, coffee pods, etc.) and yoga mats. The rooms were small, but the beds were very comfortable. Although there is only one bathroom, it was spacious and very clean. The outside deck overlooking the ocean and the hot tub were amazing. We enjoyed sitting and relaxing in the hot tub while taking in the ocean and mountain views. I highly recommend taking an evening or morning walk on the beach! Our family really enjoyed this villa and we will keep it on our list for future Iceland trips!
