Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Icelandic Lake House is situated in Akranes. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. We have been travelling in Iceland for 3 weeks and have stayed in some outstanding (plus a couple of not quite outstanding) accommodations. The Lake House is by far our favourite. The view from the conservatory and the deck were exceptional. We decided to take a ‘rest day’ here to just enjoy the view, the peace and the hot pot. It was great having access to coffee, herbs and spices left by the owners to use in our meal prep. Access was very easy with the lockbox. The heating was already on for us which was greatly appreciated. Btw I loved the swans in the pond. 😂

Hvammur 4 with private hot tub (Fagurgali) is set in Drangsnes. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. The holiday home has a picnic area and a hot tub. We loved the warmth and privacy wood cabin and a adjoined hot tub! Well equipped cabin (you will need to bring the coffee - there is a filter machine). Great views - you can spend a quite and relaxing evening in the outside hot tub. Keys waited for us in a locked safebox at the door - we never met the hosts (no need) - we were free to arrive at our own time schedule

Situated in Snæfellsbær in the West Iceland region, Nátthagi Luxury Cottage features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The property features mountain and lake views. The cottage was lovely, it had everything we needed, was super comfy and had great views.

Located in Kaldrananes, Hvammur 3 Hrakhólar with private hot tub offers an open-air bath, a garden and a barbecue. The property has river and garden views. We loved this beautifully spacious, well maintained cottage. The kitchen was great. The hot tub was lovey to relax in on our arrival. The owners had it full for us. We would have loved to stay longer.

Located in Borgarnes in the West Iceland region, Gíslaholt features a patio. This holiday home provides free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. A very clean, cosy cottage in beautiful landscape and peaceful, quiet setting. Kitchen well equipped, cosy beds and great bathroom. Everything one needs is there. It’s close to the popular sights of Reykholt, Hraunfossar and Húsafell. Wonderful owners.

Situated in Drangsnes in the West Iceland region, Hvammur 1 with private hot tub features accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. Awesome apartment, fully equipped, very spacious and comfortable. Very peaceful and quiet place, wish we could stay for more nights!

Eiði Farmhouse has sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Grundarfjordur. The property features garden views. The rooms include a terrace with lake views. Actually greeted by host, gorgeous guesthouse with an unparalleled view.

Sodulsholt Cottages offer self-catering cottages in Sodulsholt and views of the surrounding landscape. Free WiFi is available. Perfect little cottage. Literally nothing bad to be mentioned about it. Confy, well maintaned, warm and well insulated despite the heavy winds we had during our stay. A lot of large windows (we saw a small stretch of the aurora right front the bed) and the kitchen has everything one would need for cooking a nice dinner. We even stopped near their farm and saw the beautiful horses they have, there was one nice guy who let us in for a couple of mins. Definitely recommend. It is not cheap but well… what’s cheap in Iceland? The price is fair anyway.

Hítarneskot Holiday Home is a holiday home with a barbecue, set in Hítarneskot. Guests benefit from terrace. Free private parking is available on site. Free WiFi is offered. Lovely cottage set next to the sea. The house had everything we needed. Warm and comfortable. You can sit by the window and just watch the horses. We visited in winter and it was an excellent place to view the aurora.

Very big house. You can buy food and cook there. There are a big kitchen , living room and bathroom with a floor heater. The TV has netflix which is a good point to put your account and watch films. We love so much this stay.
