El Heidi K. Haus se encuentra en la provincia de Gangwon y ofrece alojamiento con zona de parrilla al aire libre, zona de césped y parque infantil. We stayed four nights, with day trips to the Gangchon Rail Park, Alpaca World, and Nami Island. This place was recommended by friends and I'm so glad we decided to stay here. John and his wife were really kind and took very good care of us. Rooms were clean and neat. Hot water flowed freely during bathtime and we drank cold water straight from the tap. For the most part, we felt like we were visiting grandparents who kept feeding us. We skipped the Vivaldi Ski Park only to discover Pallbong-san was closed for the winter, but John got us four gimbap, brought us to a nearby service road up a small peak, and sent us on a short hike (that incline!). We still got to muck around in the mud and leaves on the way up. Our sons (9 and 7) enjoyed the outdoors, helping John build campfires, playing with his wife's dog, and generally just running around the property screeching like banshees and dipping into John's store of firewood and kindling as he looked on indulgently (city kids don't get campfires much). The charcoal barbecue most reviews mention was a highlight, as was (for me anyway!!) cooking kimchi ramyeon with actual kimchi in a pot on a stove in a proper pension in the Korean countryside. I saved the receipt from our trip to the mart to buy ingredients too, it's going into my journal. Thank you John and Mrs Lee for your hospitality, we will not forget it. p/s For runners, there's a short out and back - just follow the pavement that starts at one of the roads in front of the property (the road after the tunnel, you'll see when you get there) to the end. A round trip took us about 40+ minutes? We called it 6plus-7km. A pleasant enough route.

I felt welcome here from the first minute and could explore the city, mountains and local dishes thanks to the good recommendations of the host. The host ist really kind and helpful and speaks English well. The location of the guesthouse is between the city and Seoraksan National Park but in a quiet rural area. The next bus stop is in walking distance. I really liked the room and the view from the balcony. Breakfast was great and brought to the room. I would have enjoyed it to stay longer.

El Gilson Story Pension se encuentra en Anheung-dong, a 44 km del Pyeongchang Olympic Plaza, y ofrece habitaciones con aire acondicionado. The host was so welcoming and helpful! We felt so at home here.

El CHAEUL Pension se encuentra en Pyeongchang, a 32 km de la plaza olímpica de Pyeongchang y a 1,8 km del valle de Geumdang, y ofrece alojamiento con aire acondicionado y acceso a un jardín con... Everything. The location. The coziness. And especially the host. His kindness, friendliness and generosity.

El Cat on a Hot Tin Roof se encuentra en Yangyang, a 1,7 km de la playa Zangyo y a 8 km de la playa Hajodae, y ofrece terraza y aire acondicionado. Unique little apartment, original atmosphere. Well-decorated and very friendly place.

El Forest of Color Pension se encuentra en Hongcheon, en la región de Gangwon-Do, a 11 km de Ocean World, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, parque infantil, acceso directo a las pistas de esquí y... El Grace River House-Block B ofrece vistas al río y alojamiento con balcón y cafetera a unos 33 km del parque Welli Hilli. Perfect location with great vieuw on the river. Very comfortable house with large living and plenty balconies. The house was very clean and roomy. The host is very kind and does everything to make the stay easy and pleasurable.

El Magenta in Donghae está situado a 2,6 km de la playa de Daejin y a 2 km del mercado central de Donghae y ofrece alojamiento con aire acondicionado, vistas al mar y conexión wifi gratis. Firstly, I stayed in the Martin room and the ocean view was magnificent. It was on the third floor and really clean. I liked that there was a cafe on the first floor. I think it was an excellent business idea. They had my favorite coffee “cold brew”. ❤️

La Sisilli Pension, situada en Pyeongchang, a 20 km del centro comercial de Pyeongchang Olympic Plaza y a 8 km de la terminal de autobuses de Jinbu, ofrece alojamiento con conexión wifi gratis, aire... The host upgrade our room to the bigger room without additional charges. And the host provide the winter snow sled for us to play. The location is really suitable for the sledding activities, and my kids enjoys so much. Whenever they feel cold, they can get back to the room immediately and being warm up. After that, they can come out to play again. How I wish i book this place for 2 nights. 1 night is really not enough. A big thumbs up to the Host.
