Chateau de Monrecour is located in Périgord Noir region, in the heart of the Dordogne Valley. It offers two heated swimming pools, a large south-facing terrace and a gourmet-style restaurant. The staff at this charming hotel were incredibly welcoming, and the location is stunning! From the moment you arrive, you are immersed in a sense of relaxation and beauty. Our room was situated not in the main building (the castle) but in a lovely annex. It was quiet at night, which is very important to me. The room was spacious and cozy, with tea, coffee, and water available for free. We dined at the restaurant inside the Domaine; the food was good, though in my humble opinion, not exceptional. However, we thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance. The beautiful breakfast room, located inside the castle, offered a great variety of choices. The garden and the view are stunning, with swimming pools located in various spots. Having visited many hotels in Dordogne during my stay, Château de Monrecour was definitely my favorite. I hope to have the chance to go back soon.

Offering city views, Le Château Olive et Raisin is an accommodation set in Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, 24 km from Parc des Expositions Avignon and 33 km from Avignon Central Station. Beautifully appointed modern apartment, spacious and comfortable. Wonderful views onto the river and terraces. Autonomous entry was east. Restaurant downstairs was high standard with charming staff, we ate there three nights. Highly recommended.

Offering a bar and mountain view, La Masia Del Taulat Chambres d´Hôtes is set in Llo, 7.9 km from Municipal Museum of Llivia and 13 km from Bolquère Pyrénées 2000. The house is full of charm and has unbeatable views of the mountains Cadí and Carlit. The breakfast and dinner spread was some of the best I’ve had in a guesthouse and the hospitality incomparable. Toni and Miguel are amazing hosts who truly care about their guests and go above and beyond to make sure you are happy, comfortable and well-fed. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Château d'Arance features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Cette-Eygun. Featuring a bar, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom. One of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed in due to its surroundings and it being a Château. The big surprise was dinner! Maite is the most amazing chef. We didn’t miss one dinner! Fabulous hosts.

Providing garden views, Château Laffitte Carcasset in Saint-Estèphe offers accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, free bikes, a garden and a shared lounge. Very nice staff, great hospitality, very clean facilities, would definitely come here again!

Situated in Artigues-près-Bordeaux, in a historic building, 8.9 km from Chaban Delmas Bridge, Château Fleur D'Aya is a recently renovated bed and breakfast with a terrace and shared lounge. The history of the chateau, as told by Rafeal, was fascinating. The large room and bed were wonderful after our long, cramped flight. And the relaxed chatty breakfast on a rainy morning was equally excellent!

Well situated in the centre of Sarlat-la-Canéda, LE PETIT MANOIR offers air-conditioned rooms, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi and a garden. Amazing, friendly staff, great location, beautiful functional rooms and magical property. Highly recommend

Offering garden views, Le Château de Roquebère is an accommodation set in Condom, 40 km from Agen Exhibition Centre and 41 km from Stade Armandie. Lovely peaceful location. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Château Saint-Pierre de Mejans offers accommodation with pool with a view and free WiFi. Perfect renovated chateau with beautiful garden and grapes. Nice art all around. Very helpful staff. Nice pool and relaxing points all over. Tasteful wine
