Chateau de Monrecour is located in Périgord Noir region, in the heart of the Dordogne Valley. It offers two heated swimming pools, a large south-facing terrace and a gourmet-style restaurant. The staff at this charming hotel were incredibly welcoming, and the location is stunning! From the moment you arrive, you are immersed in a sense of relaxation and beauty. Our room was situated not in the main building (the castle) but in a lovely annex. It was quiet at night, which is very important to me. The room was spacious and cozy, with tea, coffee, and water available for free. We dined at the restaurant inside the Domaine; the food was good, though in my humble opinion, not exceptional. However, we thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance. The beautiful breakfast room, located inside the castle, offered a great variety of choices. The garden and the view are stunning, with swimming pools located in various spots. Having visited many hotels in Dordogne during my stay, Château de Monrecour was definitely my favorite. I hope to have the chance to go back soon.

Beautifully appointed modern apartment, spacious and comfortable. Wonderful views onto the river and terraces. Autonomous entry was east. Restaurant downstairs was high standard with charming staff, we ate there three nights. Highly recommended.

The house is full of charm and has unbeatable views of the mountains Cadí and Carlit. The breakfast and dinner spread was some of the best I’ve had in a guesthouse and the hospitality incomparable. Toni and Miguel are amazing hosts who truly care about their guests and go above and beyond to make sure you are happy, comfortable and well-fed. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Château d'Arance mempunyai taman, ruang tamu berkongsi, teres dan restoran di Cette-Eygun. Mempunyai bar, hotel 3-bintang ini mempunyai bilik berhawa-dingin dengan bilik mandi peribadi. One of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed in due to its surroundings and it being a Château. The big surprise was dinner! Maite is the most amazing chef. We didn’t miss one dinner! Fabulous hosts.

And the relaxed chatty breakfast on a rainy morning was equally excellent!
