Wonderful little place right by the sea. The deck is great, view from the "Studio" is amazing, but everything is rundown, walls have cracks, shower is very outdated and not very clean. Certainly not worth the high price!
The food the ladies cook is great, fresh oysters, local dishes, etc. but the space of the "restaurant" lacks any kind of atmosphere which makes a very nice meal feel sadly uncomfortable.
Just a few steps from Bananal Beach and a 17-minute walk from Matariz Beach, Fauna features accommodations in Praia do Bananal with a garden, a bar, and a shared lounge.

We had a relaxing and fun stay. We liked the beautiful and remote setting, friendly staff, excellent caipirinas and juices, good food, spacious and comfortable rooms, the private beach, the availability of paddle boards and kayaks, and the private hot tub. The New Year’s Eve dinner was magnificent.

Very pleasant stay! Love the part of the island. Accomodation was clean and new. Lovely breakfast made by the owner on the porch with sea view. Close to the beach and almost in the forest 🤍 We actually saw a dolphins from the porch!
