We loved the breakfasts! Every morning such a delicious selection including waffles 😍. Every single staff member was so friendly and always said hi to us as we walked past. We had dinner at Oceans on the Saturday night and the lamb and ribs were so good!

Rarotonga is a must if you are looking for a slow chilled holiday, we loved it and we had a 6 month old with us. The people are all lovely and the food was quite divine, especially Takitumu tapus in Muri. The sea is phenomenal and we were lucky enough to just be out swimming by ourselves and see turtles. Resorts are welcoming even if you are not staying there. We were told it was pricey however we found it rather inexpensive, some things were on par with NZ and even a little cheaper at times for the quality. Loved our trip and will be back, note if you are there on a Sunday- most things are closed, however some eateries are still open just to be aware.

Our trip was amazing, however there was one theme that was a huge put off. Some of the places we went had absolutely horrible attitudes towards us. Rude with no greetings and sour faces, it is not nice to be treated like that. This was NOT at every place we went but it was enough times to stand out.
Apart from that....it was a fun filled trip

Rarotonga is a great place to visit.
Rarotonga is a great place to visit. Its layed back and the weather is very nice. The beaches are great. We ate at Supper Browne in Tupapa at their cafe which was reasonably cheap steak meal. The local food on the early morning on Sunday was fantastic. Going to the movies could be good for young couples to spend some quality time without being too occupied with big expensive activities.
The property is so beautiful! Comfy, quiet, spacious, clean and scenic. Easy walk to the beach and down the road from The Rarotongan. This is a must-stay if you're looking for something more than just a hotel room. The pool is fantastic on those super hot afternoons too!
Hosts are so wonderful, kind and helpful.
You may want to get a car or scooter to get around quicker but the bikes are great to cruise around on and you can flag down the bus at the end of the road
Thanks Jaime and Jason again for everything!
Love, love, love Avana Waterfront Apartments! Everything about Avana Waterfront Apartments exceeded our expectations. Location is amazing -central to all the must sees, dos and eats! We had some questions prior to booking with Avana, and the host was especially responsive, helpful and accurate with the information. Avana Waterfront Apartments is our go to destination in Rarotonga!
Staff go above and beyond to provide guests with the highest level of support.
It has become like a ‘second home’ as I have visited Rarotonga a number of times and love staying at the Edgewater.
It’s very clean and comfortable.
It has become rather expensive like a lot of accommodation on Rarotonga as prices have risen.
Special thanks to Tametoa and Martha.
Kindest Regards

It was perfect for a family holiday. Facilities top notch. The owners were amazing and nothing was too much for them to make sure we had a great holiday. They arranged in house massage, and there was an endless supply of fruit for us to eat. They were happy to drive us to collect our car after the cross island walk. I honestly cannot recommend this property enough- 5 star.
everything as written in the description, nice clean and friendly ! for me a perfect location near airport city and some km to the good beaches !
top :
- snorkeling gear for free and you can take with you
- free parking in front hotel
- small but nice swimming pool if you have kids
- reef shoes to use for free
nice person working there friendly
I arrived late but my hosts had checked in for me and left the registration papers for me to sign and give back in the morning making it very convenient after a long day. To be honest it's well worth your money. Their information book was awesome and helped me. It's not 5 star but the hosts, and everything make The Cooks Oasis 10 stars.
Best place to stay in Rarotonga. We loved everything. The staff, the villa, the beach, the restaurant, the cocktails, everything was just perfect. It's perfect for families with kids that look for comfort and a bit of luxury. This resort has nothing to do with other kid friendly resorts in the island. It's way superior.
Muri Beach is a great location on the island! We were there for a wedding with a few other guests staying in hotels nearby which made catch ups easy. The resort itself is lovely, it's the sister resort of Nautilus so we used the same restaurant facilities as Nautilus guests. The staff were lovely at both locations.
Nev the owner was highly attentive of our needs and was always so helpful during out stay.He had great local knowledge and was really friendly. The bungalow is close to one of the best beaches for snorkelling and we loved our time in Rarotonga and learning about the culture.
The Edge water Resort Rarotonga is not flashy but is very clean and tidy and the staff make you very welcome. Location is right on the edge of the lagoon so the crash of the surf is constant but not annoying. Highly recommend this hotel as a Raro destination.
On the beach with sea about 5 meters away at high tide (!) and best beach in Rarotonga.
Generously endowed with cooking utensils and condiments. Also lots of fresh fruit. Host supplied generous bonuses of fresh fish (Wahoo and Tuna) which were superb.
The bungalos are very well equipped, clean and beautiful. Great quiet location on Rarotonga. The managers owners Lawrence and Simone and staff are incredibly nice. I miss them already. They make you feel like family. Very helpful for our stay.
Amazing hotel, staff was really nice and helpful. The beach at this hotel is amazing, best one I saw in Rarotonga. And the restaurant serve you right on the beach, which is perfect to enjoy the sun and relax.
View in the most beautiful beach of Rarotonga. The room is very nice. Ladies at the reception so nice and helpful. Easy to get food around at walking distance (market, small supermarket, resort, fast food…)
Great value for money, and just a 7 minute drive to Muri beach. The hosts were super helpful and friendly too! Would recommend especially for couples who aren't looking to stay at a pricey resort.
