It was a nicely furnished apartment. Fantastic to live with family. Everything was clean and tidy and all the equipment was working.
Just like any other small city in Finland. Maybe if you dig deeper, the seaside would be nice and what's happening there. But in the center there is little interesting. Same shops and chain restaurants.
Easy to find, very clean flat, cozy and spacious. Near the road but quite inside, lots of light, good beds, nice TV, clean large balcony, bath instead of usual shower in the bathroom. Washing machine and microwave. Free parking in the yard. Prisma and Lidl are just 3 min away by car. About 10 min by car from Kotka city center.
The host has met us and gave all the instructions. Payment at the place.
Stayed in this hotel twice this month - with the family, and alone, in a stopover during a drive to Helsinki. Both times the rooms were newly furbished and in good shape. Beds are comfortable, there is a desk in case one needs to work. Location is close to the highway, but not noisy. Plenty of parking available.
The owner, Nina, was very pleasant, and has a very nice little hotel! There's no lobby, the rooms are in different buildings of what was once a small family farm.you drive or walk into little driveway, which opens to a garden with fruit trees, and the various buildings are around the garden.
Hotel Leikari has good sized rooms and they welcome pets. This was very important for us, as we were traveling with our dog. The surroundings are great for walks. There is plenty of parking available, and the staff is friendly.
Breakfast was very good
Staff were very polite and friendly. We experienced best customer service compared to many Sokos hotels in Finland.
Room was adequate for a family of 4 with two WC
Very spacious
Great view to the sea from nearby lookout tower. All facilities in new alike condition. Big dining and leasure areas. Still within walking distance from center of Kotka. Parking in front.
The location was great!
The yard and the river were beautiful.
I liked that the hotel's dogs came to meet me.
Room size and style was great and had beautiful view from the window.
The breakfast was quite good. The hotel is just off the road. There are a few restaurants and a very nice park within a walking distance. You can also rent or loan bicycles.
Very convenient location if you want to spend a day in Kotka or Hamina and explore the surrroundings. Quiet pleasant area. Hassle-free parking in the yard.
