Room ample and clean well equipped. Breakfast with many choices: hot meals, cuts, breads, fruits...Climatized swimming pool and sauna. Outside patio. Hotel is a short ride from Central Kamppi by frequent bus (line 400) on a residential area full of parks. By buying a pass allowed us to move around the city and go to the centre as many times as we wanted.

Architecturally interesting and superbly decorated. Option given to have a room on any side of the hotel on check-in. Breakfast on the top floor is excellent. Handy supermarket downstairs. Easy access to station and tram network. Good sauna as expected. Cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Helsinki.

The location is in the Kalio district which is serviced by the tram system as well as the metro station Sornainen which is about ten-minute walk. I found a lovely way to walk to the city center via a path that follows the perimeter of Toolonlahti Bay. This route you will encounter people, birds, waterfowl, along with beautiful scenery. The breakfast was all that one could ask for with variety and quality. The room was good size, spotless, and supplied with all the necessities that one would need.
