The location is fabulous, and the main building, rooms and spa clean and atmospheric. The spa is a strong point given the indoor and outdoor facilities. The food, once delivered, was superb and was the highlight of the stay, especially breakfast. If you are allergic to dog hair, stay away, as all the rooms (including bedrooms) are doggy friendly - a plus and negative!

cottage was lovely newly decorated home from home had everything we needed small with lovely features. Morrisons superstore was not far away 2 mins up the road and a small Tesco down the road. Longleat within an easy drive lovely village pubs good food and drink very friendly.

Lovely Inn. Stylish decoration and furnishings, cosy atmosphere. Very old building full of character. Staff very friendly, literally nothing was too much trouble. Family bedroom had everything you need, bathroom had bath as well as a separate shower. Big car park and a large garden area with seating. Ending up joining in with Morris Dancing troupe who arrived… but that was our choice, not compulsory!

We visit this hotel annually when we go to Longleat which is very close. We love the character. This year we had a family room which gave us masses of space. Free parking. Wetherspoons breakfast downstairs, 2 bottles water, chocolate as well as tea and coffee in room. Love the secondary double glazing which doubles as fridge for water and juice. Easy to park near the high Street.

Could be a very pretty town but a little run down at present time. Also from roadworks a the main junction in the town. Several places to go and eat within walking distance and good choice supermarkets.

Lovely Hotel with very friendly, polite staff. Great location with lovely grounds. Very quiet and tranquil Hotel and not far from shops etc if you require them. I will definitely go back again for a nice relaxing break.

The room was large, comfortable and had everything I needed for a business trip - a desk, plenty of outlets for the laptop, phone, etc and plenty of room to spread out and relax after work. The very old house does have a nice ancient charme. The stuff is nice and helpful, the breakfast was wonderful and the restaurant serves good meals at the end of a tiring vacation day.
