The pool and lobby area were beautiful. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The price is high for what you get, but we knew this going in. You pay for location, right on the ocean. It's a 20 minute drive to get into town to do anything, so only stay here if you like the seclusion. Food and drink from the Pelican Grill was reasonably priced and good portions.
Our flight was changed last minute and we had to check out a night early. They charged a $125 cancellation fee. Nothing we could do about it, and I kind of get it. But the hotel was booked solid. I'm sure they booked out our room anyway and they didn't need to charge us.
Just a 5-minute drive from the centre of town, Rincon offers rooms overlooking the Caribbean Sea, outdoor swimming pool or the hotel's tropical gardens.

The pool and pool bar were great. The food was nice and it was great to be able to eat while sitting in the pool or get out and enjoy the view from the seated area. It was also right on the beach which was great, we could hear the waves from our room at night.

We didn't stay downtown Rincon, but just outside about a 10 minute drive close to Steps Beach, where lots of surfers hang out. The downtown itself seemed very lively and there were some good restaurants that catered to different tastes and different price points. The beach in Rincon itself was quite large and wide and it had fine, yellow sand and beautiful sunsets. Lots of people gathered there to watch the sun go down. It seemed very popular with locals and tourists alike.

Avoid booking casa buena vista through booking.com. Booking.com chat is riddled with fraud and scams.
Deceptive booking.com description. This is not a 2br condo. These are 2 separate units on 2 separate floors. A studio and a 1 bed room. Do not book thinking this is a single 2 bedroom unit.
Poor communication between booking.com, rental management, and host. Booking did not provide check in instructions. Had to email host for instructions. Check in instructions are confusing as there are multiple units to check in to not just one. Lock boxes have address numbers on them but the numbers are not provided. Host provided phone number to call with issues for a 3am check in but did not answer phone. A very frustrating booking and check in experience that is easily avoided with accurate property description paired with accurate check in instructions.

Like the beach, the pool, the lobby and the staff. Didn't like the room looks faded and there was a lot of rust, room maintenance, bar closed too early, no coffee or water at the lobby no business station

Best place to visit however due to many expats moving in the prices for everything are skyrocketing because well people love to spend here. Once you go you’ll continue to return the many shops and the owners are very welcoming and do treat everyone like family no matter where you go. Favorite spot for me is the Lighthouseaks El Farro, the Balneario Hut and Beach, especially Karaoke Nights, as well as, Rincon Bakery for the huge and tasty breakfast sandwiches to name a few. The area is easy to get to know major businesses are either on Route 115 or 413 so getting lost isn’t really a concern. I would avoid driving into or out of town on Thursday afternoon or evenings due to art night in the plaza many people come in and all school areas out or during school breaks out hours which is anywhere in PR at around 2-230pm..
We had a room away from the beach, but as the property is literally right on the ocean there's a big patio where everyone can watch the waves or walk the sand (and often did). Swimming there isn't the best because of the coral just off shore, but the location is great - in a quiet neighbourhood yet close to town and grocery stores. The staff were amazingly friendly. It's not a big fancy hotel, so as long as you're expecting a homey little place, you'll be delighted.
This is a mid to high-level property that is a bit hard to find from the main road but has a wonderful pool with built-in bar, nice beach, good amenities, good wifi, near to shopping and restaurants, and modern in its design but still has the Latin flavor. I recommend for a comfortable stay at a good price. From here you can access anything in the town or Rincon or go up/down the coast to surf or snorkel or just chill out.
Large room. Right on the water with great view from the bar and 2nd floor patio. Restaurant, bar, a little shop all on premises. Twenty minute walk to Rincon town center. Has more of a resort feel. Nice to hear the ocean waves from the room. During our stay on a Saturday night there was live music and dancing (fortunately didn't go late for sleeping purpose!). Great to be right on the beach (small) for a swim, walk and view.
Apartment was very spacious and clean. While unpacking we noticed water on the floor in one area. Contacted Damarys and within a very short period of time, a handyman was sent to check out the problem. Apparently, the hot water appliance was leaking. Very happy to say the situation was corrected within an hour or two. Excellent service. Would recommend this apartment located just minutes from downtown Rincon.
heart of Rincon and the rooms were very clean and very modern but minimalistic. The night life is what adds to this location, and with the balcony we had it was if you never missed a moment. location is prime with bars and restaurants within steps of the hotel front doors. Try the coffee and breakfast at cafe 413 was absolutely amazing.
This is an oasis in the middle of Rincon, the staff is genuinely helpful and the place is amazingly landscaped. The room is spacious, equipped with everything you need while you're away, the bed and pillows are memory foam, extremely comfortable, the patio has a great view of the ocean perfect for sunsets! I love the place!!!
We absolutely fell in love with Rincon and our lovely Inn. Our dream is to come back every year or move here in a decade. You can walk to beaches or restaurants or the city square. We loved the beautiful pool and the wild chickens roaming around. There was live music and a food truck park across the street.
Clean and private! Had the beach to ourselves every day. Property management was amazing and so helpful! The cute town of Rincon had multiple amazing coffee shops and delicious food! I wish we’d stayed here our whole trip! Made the next “resort” look like a days inn. Definitely worth it!
As always, Rincon Beach Resort meets our expectations. Excellent place to pass a relaxing time with your loved one or enjoy a family trip with your children. Pool is great, food is amazing, staff is friendly. Overall, if you want a quiet, nice time, this is the place.
Location is beautiful, right on the ocean. Felt like we had entire place to ourselves despite all rooms being booked. Breakfast was good and stocked minibar nice (and not outrageously priced) for a short visit. Plenty of restaurants in Rincon and great sunsets!
The hotel area was very beautiful, it was right by the sea. The pool area was also very nice. The view from our room was beautiful, it was to the pool but we could also see a glimpse of sea, even though it was not a seaview-room!
This bed and breakfast was amazing. The place was clean, and confortable. John is a great host!!! The breakfast was very good too. We never been in this area of Rincón, an we like it very much. It was our favorite place now.
A small oasis over looking the Atlantic Ocean! The host John actually built the property ~ 22 years ago. He took care to make sure guests would enjoy tranquility in the hills of Rincon!
Nice apartment close to the beach and some restaurants. Very comfortable bed and helpful owners. The city of Rincon is close with a 10 minutes drive. Generally nice area around.
