The place is beautiful and the staff is super kind and flexible. They really want to make sure you will have a good stay. The dorm is good and has AC. Breakfast also was a well-served portion.

Offering an outdoor pool and views of the garden, Maris Paraty is set in the Cabore district in Paraty, 900 metres from Paraty Historic Centre. The rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV. We loved our stay at Maris! Maris is an oasis just ten minutes walking from the historical center of Paraty. We felt completely safe walking to and from even after dinner in the dark. The walk itself is gorgeous down the canal and gives you an opportunity to see something outside the historic center and sleep in a quiet area. We ended up parking inside the property as other guests didn't have a car but if we were to park on the street there would have been plenty of parking and we would have felt safe doing so. The facility is even nicer than the photos. The pool was amazing and the grounds as a whole were extremely peaceful. Comfortable and large room. Breakfast was amazing every single day. The staff was also kind and attentive to anything we needed! We would highly recommend staying at Maris and would book again if we are ever back in Paraty! - Francine & Kai

Just 900 metres from Paraty historical centre, this guest house offers charming accommodation decorated with handmade objects, plus free WiFi. Regional breakfast can be enjoyed daily. This little Pousada is quite nice. Everything is done really well, the grounds, the room, the decor, the breakfast….. It’s certainly not the cheapest place in Paraty. But I believe it is worth every extra dollar. I’ve stayed in quite a few little places like this, and this one is definitely at or near the top!
