Located only 300 metres from Flamengo Beach, Rondônia Palace offers spacious rooms with free internet and TV. It was just all around good for everything I wanted while in Rio.

Close to metro station and many bus routes. A good selection of bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Well run hotel, with lots of attentive staff

Located 450 metres from Praia do Flamengo Beach, and right beside the bohemian Lapa district, Mengo Palace Hotel features free WiFi access. The friendly staff even though most of them could not speak English, they did try to help and understand.

The hotel is a really good price for value, the breakfast was also really good and everyday it was a sucess. The cleaning lady was super friendly and always made sure we had everything we needed, they also kept out bags and helped us a lot in reception. I was a bit worried about location but I loved it as it is in the middle between the center and the beaches, wich was perfect for us. Also the mini fridge in the room was a good sent as it was perfect for water and my medication with the heat.

Hotel Rio Claro is 200 metres from Rio de Janeiro’s Catete metro station and 600 metres from Praia do Flamengo Beach. Offering free Wi-Fi, it is 5 km from Santos Dumont Airport. Wifi was good enough to run a Zoom meeting. The staff was friendly and very helpful even though I didn't speak Portuguese. The room was small but comfortable. GREAT location! Really safe part of Rio, very close to the beach and metro. The breakfast was charming and it was so lovely to get to have that every morning.
