Hotels a Lapa, Rio de Janeiro

Tião Botelho Guest House in Rio de Janeiro provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and barbecue facilities. I was in Rio de Janeiro for a week and wanted a place not too expensive, from where I could visit the city : it's near the Lapa neighborhood who's a place to see, there are groceries and restaurants nearby, etc. And for the most touristic places of the city, I went by taxi. I also wanted a place where I could have some calm for working on my computer : I stayed many afternoon on the balcony, it was perfect, sunny but not to hot and really quiet (as for the nights). The owner is really nice and makes you feel at home. For me, it's a great place for backpackers with low budget who wants to visit Rio and stay in a less-touristic area than Copacabana.

Offering a sun terrace and views of the city, Selina Lapa Rio de Janeiro is located in the trendy Lapa district in Rio de Janeiro, 200 metres from Santa Teresa. The staff was really kind and the facilities like the kitchen and rooftop were amazing.

Casa Nova Hotel is located in Rio de Janeiro's City Centre, in the trendy Lapa district, 10 km from Christ the Redeemer. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. The location is perfect, just in the middle of Lapa's interesting life, good supermarkets, restaurants, music-samba, very nice, old houses around (unfortunately many in bad condition, but they have charm), the aqueduct just 5 minutes on foot, center, cathedral, metro, tram and Selaron steps (so Santa Teresa) 10 minutes on foot, plenty of buses nearby. Flamengo beach and good weekend market 15 on foot. Nice rooftop with pool and view over Santa Teresa e.g. Of course you will see here homeless people too like in any other country's big cities, but I traveled alone as a woman and I felt safe (I am not a brave type). Anyway, you will see policemen at many corners in Brazil. After this hotel in Lapa I stayed in Copacabana/Ipanema area for some nights and I think was a really good idea this kind of split between locations. Breakfast was great. The room was big with comfortable bed. The street was noise, but you are in the center area... I could sleep well by open window. I didn't use the air-condition (It was summer, but for me the temperature was good without ac), but I tried once and seemed a little bit loud. (As far as I know that is a common problem in Brazil.) The senior man with glasses at the reception (unfortunately I don't know his name) was really professional and friendly.

Ideally located in the trendy and touristic Lapa District, where guests will find an array of entertainment options and can enjoy the local nightlife, Days Inn by Wyndham Rio de Janeiro Lapa is 2 km... L'esmorzar és variat però en època de molta ocupació es quedava curta la quantitat de menjar. Et fan l'habitació a diari si avises deixant el cartró a la porta.

Offering an outdoor pool, Vila Galé is located right in Rio de Janeiro´s city centre. The hotel features a complete wellness centre and guests can enjoy their on site restaurant and bar. De todo, amo el Vila Gale! Mientras trabajo puedo ver disfrutar a mí hijo en la piscina. Si trabajo de noche, puedo pedirle comida a la habitación y es excelente. El bar de la piscina es encantador. El desayuno es más que increíble, a veces pienso que es mucho.

Hotel Carioca is located in Rio de Janeiro's Lapa district. Arcos da Lapa Attraction is 500 metres away. Free WiFi access is available. They were all so helpful and sweet and the hotel is good located close to everything.

Located 2 km from Rio de Janeiro commercial centre and 3 km from Flamengo Beach. The restaurant serves a daily buffet breakfast. WiFi is free and private parking is possible on site, at a surcharge. Location is awesome, Saturdays can be light due to the weekend movida but also cool because out of the fire you have the Rio nightlife. Breakfast is awesome.

Arosa Rio Hotel offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. It is located in downtown Rio de Janeiro. A 24-hour room service and shuttle services are available. It was very located and very organized.

Américas Granada Hotel has a restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and bar in Rio de Janeiro. The hotel staff are enthusiastic and able to solve problems in a timely manner. Breakfast was great. The hotel is located in the center of the old town, not far from surrounding attractions. It is worthy of tourists reference choice.

The Hotel Monte Alegre is an economic option located in the centre of Rio de Janeiro, near the popular Lapa district and with easy access to museums, theatres and other attractions. Amazing location in the city center. Near bus stations. Near supermarkets and pharmacies. Staff is friendly and will help you in anything you need. The interiors are nice and the rooms are super comfortable. AC, desk and closet.
