It is located in front of Itaigara´s Shopping Mall and 1200 metres from the beach. the hotel was in a stunning 18th century property that had been beautifully updated while maintaining all the character. the staff were amazingly helpful hand friendly especially Michel and Lucas. they could not do enough to help us. the rooms were lovely and had aircon and a tv with netflix. fridges were stocked with reasonably priced water and snacks. breakfast was really nice and there were nice common areas and a slightly dodgy but fun to play on pool table.

The daily 'cafe de manha' served up a great Brazilian buffet of coffee/yogurt/granola/fresh tropical fruit/juices+. My oceanview room with private bath was very comfortable & clean with an A/C I could use during the heat of the day, but being a person who loves fresh air, I was happy I could open the sliding glass window at nite, and listen to the sound of the ocean waves that were so soothing to my ears. A Gem of years gone by, yet well maintained/renewed. A great option for budget travelers wanting to be close to everything (esp. the Rio Vermelho cultural scene & nightlife) w/buses available out front. I will stay here next time I return for sure🫶🏾
