Situated in Cairo, 4.8 km from Tahrir Square, Riverside Hotel features accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Spacious, comfortable room with a nice balcony. Unlike the room booked by the other members of our group, this room was ready on time and we were actually able to use it early. The hotel let us store our bags at reception for a night while we went on an overnight trip out of the city. The restaurant on the roof has good food and a nice view. The room was well equipped with tea, coffee, hairdryer, an iron and ironing board, etc. The bed was really comfortable.

Great hotel on the river near the Cairo Tower, walking distance (across the Nile) to the Egyptian Museum, and close to the restaurants of Zamalek. The staff were excellent and really helpful, and assisted with an early check in (after we arrived from the overnight train from Luxor) and also a late check out … and gave us a room upgrade so that we would have more space with our two children! The kids enjoyed the pool to cool down after the hustle and bustle of Cairo!

The best thing is the location, it's in the center of Zamalek area, which is quiet and full of restaurants and cafes. The staff was friendly and lovely. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was tasty. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Horus Hotel Zamalek and would totally recommend it.
