Unlike the room booked by the other members of our group, this room was ready on time and we were actually able to use it early. The hotel let us store our bags at reception for a night while we went on an overnight trip out of the city. The restaurant on the roof has good food and a nice view. The room was well equipped with tea, coffee, hairdryer, an iron and ironing board, etc. The bed was really comfortable.

The staff were excellent and really helpful, and assisted with an early check in (after we arrived from the overnight train from Luxor) and also a late check out … and gave us a room upgrade so that we would have more space with our two children! The kids enjoyed the pool to cool down after the hustle and bustle of Cairo!
