Situated in Madrid’s Lavapiés district, this art hotel offers functional rooms with free Wi-Fi and private bathrooms. It has a 24-hour reception desk and is 10 minutes’ walk from Atocha Metro Station.... This is a beautifully renovated old building, in a very good location. The room we had was large and bright, with a balcony overlooking the street. Smart, too: electrical outlets were placed conveniently; reading lamps both sides of the bed. The breakfast room was large and nicely decorated, and the breakfast generous (buffet style, with good selections). Most of all, the reception was very friendly and knowledgeable and helpful.

Attractively set in the centre of Madrid, Atocha Hotel Madrid, Tapestry Collection by Hilton features air-conditioned rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi and a garden. The location of the hotel was great, as was, the delicious breakfast! The staff was very accommodating and friendly. I will happily stay there again.

Located in Madrid's Art Triangle, Hotel Radisson RED Madrid is just 300 metres from Atocha AVE Train Station. This design hotel offers a restaurant and rooms with flat-screen satellite TV. Hotel chosen for location near Puerta de Atocha and Museo Prado so that's a 10. Rooms clean and comfortable; although some sounds of revelry were heard after midnight on the first of 3 nights. Staff were helpful and friendly!

The Casa de las Artes, member of Meliá Collection is located in Madrid's historic Barrio de las Letras, within 10 minutes' walk of Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and Plaza Santa Ana. Hotel Madrid Atocha was great - especially as a solo female traveler. The room was lovely!! The front desk staff helped me to navigate a nail salon, laundry facilities, markets, etc. They had security at the front door 24/7. My Spanish is questionable at best and everyone greeted in Spanish, but switched to English when I started to struggle in Spanish. Unlike other locations, I appreciated that they let me try my Spanish speaking (until it was unproductive) without judgement. The breakfast buffet was expansive! Fruit, yogurt, tons of pastries, eggs, quiche, churros, juices, milk, coffee/espresso. I would 100% stay here again. It was also walking distance to so many great things (Retiro Park, Museo del Prado, restaurants, bars, metro).

Excellent location. Walking distance from main train station. You feel as if you were in a 1930 palace. Luxury for tge price of a 3 star hotel. You go out the back door and you are in tge midfke of a clasic Madrid place. Next to the hotel, by the fton door, an excelent and inexpensive restaurant with waiters with class and great service.

Ibis budget Madrid Centro Lavapies is attractively located in the 01.Centro of Madrid, and is within 1.9 km of Puerta de Toledo. This 1-star guest house offers a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. The hotel is near the metro station (Lavapies) and you can conveniently travel around the city (just 1 station from Sol). The ladies at the front desk are very nice. They helped me a lot during my stay ... thanks to them :)
