Catalonia Goya is set in a 19th-century building, next to Velázquez Metro Station, in Madrid’s exclusive shopping district. It offers free Wi-Fi, and is 5 minutes’ walk from Retiro Park. Clean rooms, attentive staff, great location. Despite being on the main road, it was quiet - there are two sets of double glazed windows.

NH Madrid Lagasca is 800 metres from Recoletos Train Station, in Madrid’s Salamanca district. It is set near the Retiro Park and the Puerta de Alcalá. Best location, confortable, clean and quiet. Pretty hotel. Great staff.

The Vincci Soma is situated in central Madrid, next to Goya Metro Station. The hotel features a gym, restaurant and free WiFi access throughout. The staff was friendly and super helpful. The location is excellent and away from the tourist crowd. The area has everything you may need, from supermarkets, shops, El Corte Ingles (The best department store in Spain), the metro and even one of the best ice cream shops in Madrid!
