Hotel Único Madrid, Small Luxury Hotels’s Ramon Freixa - restaurant has 2 Michelin Stars. I loved the location, I could go anywhere walking, the food was amazing and the staff was very personal. I love Madrid and I will like to stay there again.

Catalonia Goya is set in a 19th-century building, next to Velázquez Metro Station, in Madrid’s exclusive shopping district. It offers free Wi-Fi, and is 5 minutes’ walk from Retiro Park. Clean rooms, attentive staff, great location. Despite being on the main road, it was quiet - there are two sets of double glazed windows.

The staff was friendly and super helpful. The location is excellent and away from the tourist crowd. The area has everything you may need, from supermarkets, shops, El Corte Ingles (The best department store in Spain), the metro and even one of the best ice cream shops in Madrid!
