Casino Hotel ligt op 6 km van Ernakulam en op 10 minuten met de veerboot van Fort Cochin en Mattancherry. Het hotel beschikt over een buitenzwembad, 4 eetgelegenheden en Ayurvedische massages. Lovely hotel on Willingdon Island. Staff, food and service were great. Room large and well appointed. Had airconditioning, chairs, desk, fridge with drinks. Bathroom had a bath as well as shower. Swimming pool large and clean with towels provided as well as changing area with showers and toilets.. Hotel is not in the tourist area so need to use tuk tuk to ferry point or taxis to get around. Also not many eating options nearby. This means it's in a nice quiet location. All of the food was great, buffet breakfast, buffet evening meal or a la carte - the entrecote steak was amazing. Range of cuisines available and there is also a seafood restaurant. The bar did beers, cocktails and other drinks and provided free nibbles with drinks. You could also order snacks that you could eat in the bar area. Used by tour groups so you know it's good! A great place to stay.

Het 5-sterrenhotel Taj Malabar Resort & Spa, Cochin combineert koloniale Victoriaanse charme met een chique, modern design, en biedt een eersteklas spa, een zwembad en een 24-uursfitnesscentrum. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The heritage room would have been better and that was what we had booked but on our request they showed us a sea view room on a higher floor as the heritage looked inwards and is on the first floor. We got a room on the seventh floor with a view of the waterway. The buffet meals were excellent with a very wide choice if you have a good appetite but are pricey if you aren’t very hungry as tends to be the case with buffets. The staff are very attentive. From the concierge, travel desk, reception, security, bellhops, house keeping and restaurant staff onwards - thank you all for a very pleasant stay🙏🏽
