K's House Nikko - Kinugawa Onsen Hostel ligt in Nikko, op 18 km van station Tobu Nikko, en biedt accommodatie met een gedeelde lounge, gratis privéparkeren en een terras. One of the best hostels I've stayed at in term of facilities. Great onsen, balcony and common areas. Nice hikes around.

KINUGAWA KEISUI bevindt zich in Nikko, op 17 km van station Tobu Nikko, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. The facilities are super awesome, with free laundry, free minibar (even with alcohol!) provided. Female & Male public bath did interchange each other for evening and morning session, so we can enjoy both facilities. They even have massage chairs in the public bath area for free. Sadly if there is chance to purchase milk/ yogurt after onsen, it will be perfect! The breakfast and dinner are nice too. Breakfast is semi-buffet with quite a lot of salad & drink provided. When we mentioned one of us has certain food allergy, the manager checked in details to ensure everything is alright.

Eindelijk hadden we geen harde bedden dus dat was erg prettig. De woonkamer was simpel maar doeltreffend. Het appartement lag op een paar minuten lopen van het station. De informatie die we vooraf kregen was prima. De badkamer had een droogsysteem voor de was en dat was erg prettig.

Kinugawa Station Front room A ligt in de wijk Kinugawa Onsen in Nikko, op 20 km van Treinstation Nikko, 23 km van schrijn Nikko Toshogu en 39 km van Kegon-watervallen. Modern, clean, comfortable beds, spacious for a family. A very short walk from train station, using the foot bridge that goes from the station and over the railway tracks. We found it easy with our big suitcases.Has an auto-fill bathtub, and auto-reheats the bath water too. 3 comfortable double beds in one room, plus a tatami room. Toilet upstairs and downstairs. Kitchen has everything you need to make meals, incl fridge, microwave, rice cooker and kettle. Laundry liquid supplied for washing machine. Lawsons store nearby for groceries. Instructions provided in English in the house manual for operating the washing machine and hot water and appliances. A wonderful stay and we would highly recommend this if you want to be near Edo Wonderland (4km away) (there is a local bus, shuttle bus and taxi) and the suspension bridge walk to the lookout (12min walk). Easy to get a train to Nikko to see the shrines and abyss - highly recommend to book in advance the free volunteer guide Yumiko to show you around Nikko.

Nanaeyae ligt direct naast de Kinugawa-rivier en biedt uitzicht op de vallei. Het beschikt over warmwaterbronnen in de openlucht en serveert subtiel bereide seizoensgebonden Japanse maaltijden. -Superb meals and service, friendly and polite staff -Good views in the hotel room and onsen -Great location (around 5 mins walk from the station)
