Our stay at the hotel was fantastic from start to finish. We received a lovely welcome dessert on arrival as it was our honeymoon; the room was fantastic in terms of facilities and overall quality/comfort; the nearby gym and complimentary on-site laundry were a great convenience; and the food in the restaurant was also great. Most importantly, the reception manager Abhishek saved our day by helping to defrost our car so we could get to the train station on time, and was good-humoured even while we were very stressed. A top-class hotel all round!

Centrally located in pretty Christchurch, overlooking Hagley Park and the River Avon, the George is a luxurious 5-star boutique hotel. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi. ALT !! Fra vi checker ind bliver vi mødt og behandlet fortrindeligt. Alt personale er så imødekommende, hjælpsomme, venlige og hele stedet emmer af “velkommen til”. Værelset var rigtig fint - god seng, dejlig badeværelse - og Rent ! Restaurant Bistro 50 laver god og rigelig mad til meget rimelige penge. Klart noget af det bedste i byen - så alene af den grund er det en aften vær :-) Beliggenheden er super - i gå afstand til alt … Alternativt er bus nr 8 “lige uden for døren” Den kan du køre fra lufthavnen - via centrum til Lytton havn for bare 4 nzd på retur billet inden for 2 timer. Fra hotellet til lufthavn ca 20 min i bus. Fra hotellet til centrum - bare 4 stop - ca 8 min.

It was so convenient that we came back to our room to use the washroom/rest up as we literally will pass by it before heading to our next location. Room is new and clean. Bed and pillows are comfortable.

The hotel has a good location with good access to restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable. We loved the washer and dryer in the room. They even provided washing powder. Nice touch.

The Parque ligger bekvemt i centrum af Christchurch og tilbyder værelser med aircondition, have, gratis wi-fi og terrasse. Excellent location, twenty minutes walk from the centre of Christchurch. Right by the park, and lots of cafes nearby. Very modern and comfortable, excellent value for money!
