Just 4 blocks away from the shopping, dining and entertainment on Michigan Avenue’s Magnificent Mile, this downtown Chicago hotel features an on-site restaurant, bar and coffee shop. Whenever I come home to Chicago, the Ambassador reminds me why Chicago is so fabulous! The staff always goes our of their way to make my stay wonderful. I have severe allergies and they are so accommodating. The ambiance, the staff, everything, is amazing.

Located in the Chicago city centre, this luxury boutique hotel boasts an on-site restaurant and complimentary property-wide WiFi access. Shopping and dining on Michigan Avenue is 2 minutes’ walk away.... The Thompson is our go to hotel in Chicago. They greeted us and upgraded our room on our arrival. On our first night, we had a sudden death in the family and they graciously did not charge us for the rest of our stay. They were very understanding with our morning check out.

Just a short walk away from Oak Street Beach, Magnificent Mile, John Hancock, Water Tower Place, Lakeshore lake front, luxury shopping, and dining on Michigan Avenue. it was very friendly and comfortable. The staff were helpful and kind. They went out of their way to make us feel at home. The hotel was in an excellent position for all the things we want ed to do. Close to bars Resturant shops theatres and transport. Close to the Lake.
