Attractively set in the center of Queens, LIC Plaza Hotel is within 2.5 miles of St Patrick's Cathedral and 2.6 miles of Rockefeller Center. Amazing view. For the breakfast there was a lot of food to choose, like waffels, eggs, ham, cheese, vegetable, yoghurt or fruits. The bed was really spacious and comfortable. Location was great, it is near 3 metro stations and really near to the city centre-Manhattan.

Well situated in the Long Island City district of Queens, Wingate by Wyndham Long Island City is located 3.3 miles from Rockefeller Center, 3.4 miles from Central Park and 3.4 miles from Chrysler... The subway is quite close, and the Roosevelt island also. The selection of breakfast is not much, but it is better then the average in NY. Stuff is nice and helpful.

Ideally located in the middle of Queens, Hyatt Place Long Island City offers free WiFi and a fitness center. A fantastic hotel in a great location! Staff is friendly and helpful and the room we stayed in was well planned and clean. Breakfast was really good with a lot of choices. Subway, shops and restaurants just around the corner.

Feather Factory Hotel offers accommodations in Long Island City. All rooms are fitted with a TV with cable channels. All rooms include a private bathroom fitted with a bath or shower. Friendly staff, excellent location (I totally disagree with other comments claiming that the walk to the subway is long - it isn't, and it's a nice walk; plenty of restaurants in the vicinity and numerous transport links. We especially enjoyed taking the Q32 bus directly across the bridge to Central Park - very safe, never crowded, and a great way to interact with the locals! To reach the Q32 bus, walk to the right when exiting the hotel, go up the road, then turn right, walk straight two blocks, catch the bus by the gas station - super easy and fun.

Its closer to the city that i thought. Took the subway late at night and the area felt safe. The bed was big and comfortable I would reccomend..

The hotel itself was very clean and tidy, the breakfast was very good and the room was incredible! It has proximity to Public transportation and The hotel staff were really nice! Also, it has some good (and not expensive) restaurants nearby Very recommended!

The hotel was very clean and I always saw someone cleaning. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was also great! Our favorite part was the hot cocoa bar
