Famed bars, an awe-inspiring crystal chandelier restaurant, a fitness area and a glass dome indoor pool are featured at this landmark Financial District Palace. Staff is amazing all around. Facilities are old, but everything works and nothing seems run down or overused. They take really good care of this property and all of the details.

This hotel is centrally located in San Francisco's lively Union Square, which features shopping, dining and entertainment options. Absolutely loved the vibe and staff that greeted on arrival. Friendly to the last minute you check out. That is everybody. The reception, the bell man whose services you even didn't require. Everyone maintains the impression that you the guest number one. This hotel is more like that Continental hotel from John Wick movies. The location beats all. There is happy hour with liqueurs from 17 to 18. In the mornings there is hot water and coffee in the lobby. Perfect San Francisco stay. There is more. The coffee espresso machine in the room is Illy. There are also refillable aluminum bottles for water. The pantry where you can refill are on 03 and 07 floor. Your will appreciate the rooms overlooking the inner yard as they are especially shielded from street noises. The BART station is Montgomery and is 07 mins walk. Not convinced? Located in the heart of downtown San Francisco, this Hilton is conveniently situated crossroads of the Financial District, Chinatown, and North Beach. Perfect location, nice functional hotel, clean with comfy beds but no luxory. positive impression, especially after reading some of the negative comments by other guest. You will not find a completely sound proof room in the center of a big town - so earplugs could do for the sensitive - or a visit to the country side. Also plenty of excellent Italian and Chinese restaurants very close to the hotel. You are in San Fransisco, USA so less fortunate people can’t be avoided in a centric location. I did not find the few homeless people around problematic (sad though) but did not stay out after 10pm. Hotel has huge TV screen in common room for guests and an OK restaurant. Perfect location and great value for the price.
