This was hotel no.11 on our trip which was meant for relaxation, and it did. The region is a cultural heritage of unbelievable beauty.

We had a wonderful experience at Casa do Santo for our 2 night stay. Maria was very hospitable, helpful, and knowledgable. The views of the Douro valley are beautiful. The small, quaint village is a quick drive to the Douro river with amazing views of the hillside vineyards. Breakfast was delicious. We will definitely stay here again when we return to this area.

A beautiful property with amazing hosts! We were greeted by several of the hosts with wine and charcuterie board! The breakfast was incredible with lots of variety. Room was great with big windows with a view of the vineyards. Bathroom modern and clean. Could have stayed on the property all day and just relax!

The place is perfect to disconnect and be surrounded by nature. Ana from the staff was amazing, very thoughtful and open to help. For sure will be a place to come back again.

The hosts, the room, the garden, the pool, the views... We enjoyed evey second of our stay and we will definitely be coming back for a longer stay.
