It was a very unique experience - we booked one of the cabins in solar village. It was supercomfortable, very simple and stylish at the same time. Koalas were sleeping on trees literally outside of the cabin and we saw 4 of them in 2 days.

The Eco Retreats safari tents offer classy camping-style accommodation, set on elevated floors with deluxe beds, private en suite bathroom, kitchenette and large patio with private BBQ facilities. I don’t know where to begin with this place! It really is something very unique and special! The cottages are set in a lovely secluded bush setting above Lorne. My mom and I stayed in the 2 bedroom horizons cottages. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the cottage was fully equipped. The hosts were only a phone call away for any questions. The absolute highlight for me was all the lovely, friendly Cockatoos and Rosellas who came to visit our deck. The hosts even provide a tub of food for them! Interacting with these beautiful birds was a big highlight of our holiday!
