The moment we arrived to Samara, Denis reached out and explained how to get there. Waze works best in Costa Rica. Also if you rent the car, make sure to rent a higher one because some roads are pretty bumpy and you would need to push it. But it’s normal there. Once we arrived, they met us by the entry with warm hello, showed us our place, greeted and let us be. Breakfast was delicious and very thoughtful, based on our needs. Denis was so helpful. He answered all our questions, always within minutes replies to my messages. He also recommended bunch of places. Our lodge was clean and replenished daily. The view is great, private. Super cute little pod in the jungle just outside Tamarindo. It's on a platform facing the ocean in the distance surrounded by jungles. You can see birds and monkeys. The kitchen was better equipt than I expected and underneath the platform are hammocks in the shade if it gets too warm. The pod was decent and has aircon, although we didn't need to use it much because there is also a fan. The owners are lovely and speak great English too. The last few metres on the road are rough but we made it with a sedan rental car so don't worry if you have a vehicle. Would recommend for a chilled out night in the jungle!
