Priya and his team couldn’t do enough for us and was so attentive with utmost understanding and kindness to our 22month old daughter. The food was fine dining at its best and kept making the chicken soup my daughter couldn’t get enough of. Priya’s knowledge of the wildlife in the park was great and again focusing on wildlife our daughter could see.

This fan-cooled tent has a safe, dining and sofa seating areas. Private bathroom comes with a shower and free toiletries. -Der Service ist hervorragend -Die Safaris mit Leopard Trails waren ausgezeichnet -Das Essen war sehr gut und abwechslungsreich. This unique tent is set on the border of the National Park and comes with a private bathroom. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt im Camp! Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und wir hatten einen tollen Tag. Alles war perfekt organisiert. Alles war sauber und toll arrangiert. Die Safari hat uns Spaß gemacht und ein halber Tag genügte. Wir konnten von weitem sogar einen Leopard sehen. Wir waren rundum zufrieden! Sogar veganes Essen war möglich.

The tent offers air conditioning, a private entrance, a terrace with garden views as well as a private bathroom boasting a shower. The unit has 2 beds. Really good location close to the national Park. We were originally supposed to stay in Green Sapphire but they let us down a few hours before we were due to arrive (seems they’ve done it a lot looking at the Google reviews), but the Mango Villa team had everything sorted even though we booked just a few hours earlier that day they were still able to organise 2 full day safaris for the following 2 days where we saw all sorts of great wildlife. Staff are all really friendly, especially the man who brings the food across in the evenings (unfortunately I don’t know his name). The food is good especially considering the remote location and nice packed lunches for the safari each day. Definitely the place to stay if you’re planning a Wilpattu safari!

The tent offers a private entrance, a tea and coffee maker, a terrace with lake views as well as a private bathroom featuring a shower. The unit offers 2 beds. Wow, there are no words for this place. The host Ranil has created an oasis near Wilpattu NP focused on sustainability and responsible tourism. There are only two guest houses and the open hall for gathering and eating. The ambience is very calm and peaceful. But it also feels adventurous sleeping in the tents, knowing that elephants might came to sneak around the neighbouring fields. (We always felt super save because of the locals manning the watch platform during the night and the electro fence). We watched dozens of fire flys and the full moon from our open bathroom area a night. When we arrived on the main road we were picked up by a safari guide whom we booked a full day tour with the next day. Highly recommend that as well. In the evening we talked to Ranil a lot about his projects as a biologist in the park and he gave us a lot of insight into Sri Lanka. Of course my boyfriend loved the dog Kylie. If we ever come back to Sri Lanka we have to come back here.

The fireplace is the standout feature of this tent. The tent features a washing machine, a private entrance, as well as a private bathroom boasting a walk-in shower and a bath. Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einr herrlichen Natur Umgebung am Fluss. Trotz Fluss keine Mücken. Natur pur. Wir waren in den neueren Häusern untergebracht. Diese sind sehr empfehlenswert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Vermieter mit Familie und alle Angestellten sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Er hat mit uns einen schönen Abendspaziergang zum Sonnenuntergang durch sein Dorf und die schöne Landschaft gemacht. Die Safari war klasse. Wir sahen sogar Leoparden. Wir können Wilpattu Green Cabin weiter empfehlen. Das Frühstück ist ausbaufähig ;-)

Featuring carpet flooring, tents come with an outdoor living area and a private bathroom with hot-water showers. Includes a torch, umbrellas and a luggage rack. Beautiful setting. The camp is very spread out and the tents are spacious and clean. I’ve camped all my life and this did not disappoint as it was very luxurious comparatively. Keep in mind it’s still camping but the tents have all of the comforts of home with a full shower and bathroom as well as a sitting room. Upon arrival we received welcome drinks and were given a very informative orientation where they went over the tents, meals and meal options, afternoon tea, night and morning walks as well as the safari options. We chose to go with the full day safari and it did not disappoint, we saw a variety of birds, many deer, water buffalo, a sloth bear and three leopards(a mother and her two cubs). The bbq dinner was fantastic as we sat around a camp fire which was a gorgeous setting. The morning breakfast was also special and incredibly romantic. The staff was top notch and catered to our every need. This is a must experience if you love camping. The tents has no ac but a great fan which made for a good night sleep.
