A recently renovated campground located in Bidiyah, Al Salam Desert Camp Bidiya features a shared lounge. Access was easy: we were not driving 4 wheel cars and we did not have any problem in arriving to the camp. The camp is very well organised. The dunes behind are extremely convenient as they are just closeby. Tents are impressive, the bed was very confortable. The individual bathroom very convenient, excellent to see the stars while having shower. Staff is very friendly and helpfull, Sohel very nice. We enjoyed several of the proposed activities. We had the opportunity to enjoy different omani meals at the dinner, breakfast was also very good.

The tent features a private entrance, a seating area, as well as a private bathroom boasting a shower and a bidet. The tent offers a barbecue, a sofa, as well as a terrace and a patio. The tent's kitchenette, which features kitchenware, is available for cooking and storing food. Situated in Bidiyah, SandGlass Camp features accommodation with seating area. Great value for a dune camp-you will pay a lot more for a similar experience, but you will miss out on Said's generous hospitality. The free pickup from the meeting point was greatly appreciated, as I only had a 2WD sedan. Said offers coffee, tea & dates all day, and was always available for a friendly chat. At night, he turns the camp lights off so you can lounge under the stars. The dinner package was delicious, and I assume breakfast was as well, but I brought my own. Before staying, you must know that dune camps involve a certain degree of rustic atmosphere (tents, bathroom stalls), so if you are looking for hotel luxury, then book a place for 10x the price (and it might be similar, anyway). If you want a memorable dune experience with a host who provides a warm welcome and honest value, book here!

Nomadic Desert Camp is set in Al Wāşil. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. Towels and bed linen are featured in the luxury tent. The family that run this camp love the desert and are very hospitable. The food is excellent and plentiful. The accommodation and facilities are basic but very clean. We absolutely loved our evening camel ride.

Sultan Private Desert Camp is situated in Bidiyah. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Lovely, peaceful location way from the other camps, small setting and lovely people. We really enjoyed the ride there and the visits to the animals, the tour through the desert in the morning and the kids loved the short camel ride. Stars, sand and serenity. Lovely guide.

Set in Bidiyah in the Al Sharqiyah region, Sunrise Desert Local Private Camp features a balcony. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Beautiful small camp in the middle of Wahiba tunes, no other camps in sight. Amazing encounters with wild camels. Friendly staff and very tasty food. We were well taken care of.

Clean. Quiet place. Fantastic food. Very nice and friendly host. Go there don't hesitate. My best choice in Oman. I planed to spend a night but stayed for longer. I have seen all other camps this one was best. if you look for peace in the desert or plan to go across the desert they will help. - no thanks

Very nice camp with great location in mid of desert at quite and beautiful zoon. The tents are clean and comfortable. Hamood is very friendly man and willing to help and support

Located 50 km from Wadi Bin Khalid, SAFARI-Glamping offers accommodation in Bidiyah-20 kms inside the desert from the village Al Hawaiyah. The camp is great. There are only two tents and you can rent the whole thing for yourself. We really got the experience of being out in the desert alone. The facilities are excellent with a good bathroom and shower and nice bed (no A/C). The tents are in the traditional style as is the dining tent. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Definitely worth waking up for sunset.
