Penzion u Lípy is located in Velichov, which has good connections with nearby towns Karlovy Vary and Ostrov and can be a start or a stop of a good hiking/exploring trip. The rooms are phenomenal: excellently decorated, beautiful and feel like home. There are at least two places which serve beer very close to the accommodation. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, plus the homemade cake for breakfast was just the best.

The host Jan was super helpful and nice, very easy to communicate with and ask any questions. The room was spotlessly clean, cozy, and warm, the beds were very comfortable. The shared kitchen with a dishwasher and free tea, coffee and milk is a big plus, saves a lot of time and money. The location is convenient if you have a car, 15-30 min away from ski resorts, 15 min away from Karlovy Vary. There are restaurants, a bistro and a minimarket 1-3 min away.

Very nice owner, exceptionally good beer, fantastic dinner prepared by the owner. The room was big, warm and new looking. Fully equipped kitchen for guests available.

The suit was amazing, I liked the amenities in the hallway (we had a microwave there and a teapot with silverware and different kinds of teas). The balcony was great, it was nice to check the plethora of stars at night from the balcony. I enjoyed a lot the communication with the owner, she was very nice and friendly.

Very friendly and helpful German speaking host. Very spacious and tidy room with well-equipped bathroom. The lady of the guest house cooks very well. Very extensive breakfast. Very quiet for sleeping. Recommended!

The lady who met us was very nice and serve. She suggested even better room logistic as we booked: we accidentally booked two rooms in separate floors and she managed us to have rooms near in the same floor. Rooms were clean, warm and met our expectations. We didn't order breakfast, so cannot give any comments about that.
