This hotel was perhaps our favorite of the places we stayed on our nearly month-long trip in NE Italy. Our room was beautiful -- light-filled and spacious, very beautifully decorated. The hotel common areas on the ground floor offered pleasant spaces to hang out. Our hostess, Verbena, was a wealth of information about places to see in Padua and had been extremely helpful in giving us information about how to get to the hotel from the train station (short tram ride). Location is fantastic -- just steps away from San Antonio church (a significant site) and minutes from restaurants and many sights. Just a 15 minute walk to Scrovegni Chapel and its Giotto frescoes.

We stayed for only one night in the Palazzo, wish it was more. The apartment on the ground floor was beautiful, spacious, clean and decorated in an elegant style. The kitchen was well appointed. Good WIFI reception. There is plenty of room for your car in the inner courtyard and the Palazzo also has a lush private park where we enjoyed coffee and tea under the blooming wisteria. The Italian breakfast was good (fried eggs, prosciutto, fruits and cakes, cappuccino, tea, yogurt, jam, honey). Location is amazing, right in the historic center, only a few minutes’ walk from the Scrovegni Chapel.

On my given trip to Italy, I stayed in three different hotels in Bologna, Padua, and Mestre-Venice; all three were more or less of the same level and price. Casa Battisti was far above any of the other two and it totally exceeded my expectations. The hostess was exceptionally welcoming, the breakfast was rich, and the room was hospital-like clean, airy, and full of daylight, the place is easy to find and close to major tourist and educational attractions Padua has to offer.

Very centrally located flat. The center is reachable in < 5 min. Bright and tidy room with enough space for two persons. Since the flat is at the 9th floor of the building, the view from the flats window is nice. An elevator is available. The self check-in and check-out was easy and good communicated.
