Featuring an outdoor swimming pool and views of sea, Solar de Santo André is a recently renovated guest house located in Ponta Delgada, 12 km from Pico do Carvao. highly recommend staying at Solar de Santos André! I was lucky to stay there 4 nights (3 in the studio and 1 in the appartment), it is really a beautifull place! The house is a museum in itself, you can feel that history took place in those rooms, the 'library' is incredible and the kitchen is a dream. Eduarda will give you lots of tips and advice on the island, and if you wish she will tell you the story of the house. You trully feel at home and in a cocoon within the city. The breakfasts are awsome (thank you Maria as well :) I'll be back for sure!!

Set 12 km from Pico do Carvao, DMCharme offers air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. With inner courtyard views, this accommodation features a patio. This is one of the most customer oriented hotels I've ever been to! The service, the stay and all little extras were just awesome! (Thanks again!) I certainly recomment this hotel! Also, it's conveniently located in the heart of the island.

The house is beautifully decorated, comfortable, and clean. The common kitchen is equipped with everything you can think of and more. On top of that, Emanuel is one of the best hosts I've met! He was super friendly and accommodating. He sent a huge list of places to visit which ended up being our main travel guide during our time in São Miguel. Couldn't recommend this place more! <3

Located within 500 metres of Praia do Corpo Santo and 600 metres of Praia da Vinha da Areia in Vila Franca do Campo, Pousada da Vila features accommodation with seating area. Everything was great! I highly recommend that place for a holiday. Quiet, comfortable, everything you need.

Offering pool with a view and sea view, Thalassa Villas is situated in Ponta Delgada, less than 1 km from São Roque Beach and a 15-minute walk from Milicias Beach. There was the amazing view from the window.

Located in Povoação and only 2.4 km from Morro Beach, Casa da Lomba do Cavaleiro provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Great traditional house. Rodrigo was extremely accommodating with anything we needed as well as offering great advice re places to visit. We loved the art and books around the house. Thank you.

Boasting a shared lounge, terrace and views of sea, Garoupas Inn is set in Ponta Delgada, 500 metres from São Roque Beach. Hosts are very nice and kind and have cool sightseeing tips. They are very hospitable. We had great talks with them. The breakfast was fresh and delicious every day, we loved it. Rooms are clean, bed is cozy, view is stunning. Best place to stay in Azores. We would like to return sometime.

Featuring a garden and views of garden, CC Guest House - "Ao Mercado" is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Ponta Delgada, 13 km from Pico do Carvao. The owner was absolutely nice, helpful, friendly, very welcoming. Everything about our stay was perfect. We felt at home. The location is perfect, close to the famous farmer's market, very close to the absolute town center.

Situated in Ribeira Grande and within 300 metres of Ponte dos Oito Arcos, Matriz Guest House has a garden, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. One of the best places we ever stayed in. Stylish, comfortable and all our wishes were fulfilled. Our host was most kind and helpful. The home made cakes and jam are delicious, we were pleasantly surprised almost every day.
