All units at the holiday park are fitted with a seating area. All units have a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. At the holiday park, each unit includes bed linen and towels. Location was good. Breakfast was also good but the staff didn’t speak English so ordering was a bit hit and miss. 😊

Offering an accommodation with a dive centre, Happy Gecko Dive Resort is located on Bunaken Island in North Sulawesi, just steps from the island’s world-famous beaches and diving sites. It features a private beach area and a restaurant. Super friendly staff. The owners are great. There is a very friendly vibe. The food is delicious, homemade and shared with the other guests. The view from the room is incredible. The restaurant/ lounge area is super comfortable. Great dives and snorkel opportunities with equipment can be arranged on site. Diving instructors are amazing. You can even snorkel from the beach. Motorbike rentals can be arranged.

Guesthouse Guesthouse The 4 Fish is located in Tongkaina. Just 18 km from Manado and a 10-minute walk from a dive centre. It features an outdoor swimming pool, restaurant and rooms with views of the valley from the terrace. Free internet and parking are provided. Staying here even for one night is a must if you come to Manado. Forget every hotel, because you will find here first class service, food and view. We simply love it. Wifi/ Internet is stable and fast above all!

Located in Bunaken, 3WILL Bunaken Dive Resort is only a short distance from beautiful snorkelling and diving spots. It boasts a diving centre, massage services and a tour desk.

Each private cottage comes with a fan and a private balcony which offers views of the surrounding greenery. It features an en suite bathroom, mosquito nets and toiletries. It also has a seating area. Amazing people, amazing diving, amazing island! We loved every minute of our stay at 3 will. The facilities are simple but provide a real island life experience, food was good and plentiful (also, milk was provided for coffee) and the staff is exceptional - apart from diving, they also offer additional services such as scooter rent, massage, etc. Special thanks to our OWD/AOWD instructors Connor and Joe, who provided a wonderful learning environment and made us feel confident under water. We also had much fun with the owner of the resort, Milos, who is a living encyclopaedia and even helped us with our itinerary for the rest of our trip! Highly recommended! Last but not least - more gasoline, more better sing!👌

This property can also help arrange dolphin tour upon request and at an additional charge. The nearest diving and snorkeling spot can be found just a 2-minute walk away. Located right on Bara Beach in Bira, Cosmos Bungalows offers a beautifully simple beachfront accommodation where each bungalow has sea view. Free on-site parking space for guests who drive. The property has a lot of staircases and may not be suitable for elderly or young children. The bungalows are simple and very nicely decorated. The views are to die for. I loved the stairs straight down to the beach, the hammock on the veranda, simplicity, small scale and the overall value for money. The food is yummy and the staff and owner very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. Also, check out the diving centre next door, GaiaOne Boutique diving.

Located on Bunaken Island along the Pangalisan Beach, Cakalang Resort offers diving and snorkeling opportunities on-site. It has a restaurant and a 24-hour front desk.

Fan-cooled bungalows come with free Wi-Fi and feature garden and sea views. Tea/coffee-making facilities and an en suite bathroom with shower facilities are available. We had a great time at cakalang with Fernando and his wife being extremely accomodating. Debbie the receptionist/cook was amazing and made the best food we have had in Indonesia. Great diving experience with the team here also. Can’t wait to return some time soon!
