The bed and breakfast is located near the west lake, in a part that is a little bit more quiet than the rest of the lake, but still nearby everything there is to visit by bikes. We could choose our room on arrival, we took one with a lovely balcony. We were provided with a small booklet about the city, and our host was able to wash our clothes.

Deyishe Warm Night Lakeview Homestay is a 5-minute drive from Hang Qian high-speed entrance. It is 1 km from Qiandao Lake Bus Terminal. The property was really nice. My bathroom was massive! The water temperature and pressure made for one of the best showers of my life. The view from our room was spectacular with a floor to ceiling window. The room has central AC so we slept very comfortably despite the heat outside. The food was very local and delicious. If you want to have dinner just let Jason know what you want so he can buy the ingredients and prepare ahead of time. Jason, who runs the place, was incredible. I’ve never had such great service before. He answered all of our questions and made sure we had a wonderful stay. The property is pretty close to most touristy spots. We had a car rental but there were cars around when we checked DiDi. The property is lakeside and we were able to kayak and go for a nice swim to cool down from the heat.

The bathrooms were excellent - it was winter and the hotel had installed a hot air blow in the shower cubicle. It was so clean and very nicely arranged. Even the room slippers were of good quality. Towels were thick. The reception staff (Rong Rong and Lulu) were so helpful and kind. They paid attention to our needs and could recommend places to eat and best sites in Hangzhou to visit. My mother in law had a fall and they went with us to the clinic to see that she was attended to well.
