The accomodation was cozy (straw roof cottage) and clean. Lindie always made sure that we felt safe. She also helped us with the laundry (Thank you for that!) so that a couple of hours later we had fresh clothes again. It was the best choice to have dinner at her place as she cooks unsurpassably good. We had vegetable stir fry noodles and sticky wings (best wings my byfriend ever had). The place is however known for its sushi. The fresh bread and the jam in the morning were amazing. Lindie also organized a local guide for us to explore the area. Thank you for that! Our evening with our long conversation together was a great experience.

The owner and manager Camien went way and beyond to make sure that my stay was comfortable, from picking me up and driving me to the airport to collect a rental. Breakfast deliciously prepared to my dietary requirements with care and dedication. Bed was super comfortable and bathroom lovely. Decoration with a touch of 'biggie best' and antique. Invitation was even extended to join in celebrations of a family birthday during load shedding and even dinner on one occasion was provided. A true hidden gem of a guesthouse nestled between Eight Palms in the central hub of Port Edward.

The accommodation comes with a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries, while the kitchen has a microwave, a toaster and a fridge. Each unit has a kettle, while some rooms have a balcony and others also boast garden views. At the homestay, the units have bed linen and towels. It was neat, entertainment was not an issue. Host was very kind. The property isn’t far from the beach.
