I went because it was very cheap. I really like the people who own it and work there - they were absolutely lovely. The shared bathroom was nice. The internet was excellent.

Beautiful hostel and facilities, very clean and relaxing. They offer yoga and meditation classes that are the best you can experience. There is always a very relaxed atmosphere with background music that it is a pleasure to stay in their beautiful living room. Excellent predisposition of the staff and very good vibes from the guests and Marcus.

Por el Mundo feels like a family away from home. The common area is super cozy and all staff put a lot of effort in having you feel comfortable and at home. The vibe is warm and you can meet a lot of amazing people there. Don’t get put off by the initial look of the surroundings, the area offers you great possibilities and after getting used to feels also safe and well to handle.

The staff working in this place are super nice and the location is unbeatable. Apart from that, the dorm was rather big and toilet clean. A perfect hostel for the weekend at Lapa!

very well located but one bathroom for two shared rooms, no AC, small rooms, they give you the strict minimum, everything you ask is too much, even toilet paper, dirty place, very messy… not worth it !

The hostel is very nice and big, it has a very nice view of Rio and there is free coffee every morning.

This hostel is a very beautiful place in Santa Teresa -Lapa area! It's in a quiet area but only a few minutes away from some restaurants and the centre! It's easy to meet people ,it has a great breakfast and the staff is super friendly and helpful in any way!!! It ain't close to the main beaches though but with Uber or metro you'll be down there in no time! But if you only looking for this then you rather stay in Copacabana or Ipanema I'd say! Highly recommend and definitely would stay again! Thanks !
