Regarding noise, it really depends on the other guests you will be with. For me, it was a bit loud late in the evening over the weekend, but ther other days were fine. It is a 10-minutes-walk away from a U-Bahn station from which you can reach the city center in about half an hour. All in all, my stay was pleasant.

The staff was helpful, cool and friendly. The hostel seems new and is in a great shape. The hallways remind me of a hotel with thick carpets, cool walls and lovely fragrance. The room furnishing seems new, nothing cracks, everything works, beds are great and the pillow and the cover are not thin and tiny, but very big "meaty" hotelish.
