Set amid the Canadian Rockies in Banff National Park, this hostel boasts an on-site cafe and 2 self-catering guest kitchens. It includes private storage for guests and acts as a ski pass vendor. The family room had a unique layout which was pretty cool and something special. My little niece (5 years old) liked it very much. The hostel had a firepit where they offered smores for the night we stayed there. Was a nice extra touch.

There's plenty of space to chill or work, either outside or inside. There are books, board games, billiards, some musical instruments, so you won't get bored. You can also wash (est. $2) clothes and dry (free) them if you need. The hostel is set in a wooden house, and it also adds a lot to its vibe :).
