Set amid the Canadian Rockies in Banff National Park, this hostel boasts an on-site cafe and 2 self-catering guest kitchens. It includes private storage for guests and acts as a ski pass vendor. The family room had a unique layout which was pretty cool and something special. My little niece (5 years old) liked it very much. The hostel had a firepit where they offered smores for the night we stayed there. Was a nice extra touch.

Boasting Rocky Mountain views, HI-Banff Alpine Centre offers a café and a bar. Free WiFi and self catering kitchens are available for guests to use. Banff town centre is 4 minutes' drive away. Free bus pass, various events going on for free and organised by Hostel. Great staff, everything is clean, cozy common areas, well equipped kitchen.

Offering guest kitchen facilities, HI-Canmore / Alpine Club of Canada is located 4.5 km from Canmore city centre. Access to free bicycles is available. Free WiFi is included. I loved this hostel, I'd dare to say it was the best one I've ever stayed in. We were traveling with a group of 4, so we had a room for ourselves. The kitchen is fully equipped, and it's quite big. There's plenty of space to chill or work, either outside or inside. There are books, board games, billiards, some musical instruments, so you won't get bored. You can also wash (est. $2) clothes and dry (free) them if you need. The hostel is set in a wooden house, and it also adds a lot to its vibe :).

Located 90 km north of Lake Louise in a wilderness setting, this hostel features a common kitchen. Snowshoes are provided for guest use. Ice climbing opportunities surround this property. I had a wonderful time experiencing this wilderness hostel. The place and surroundings is beautiful and very well equipped.

Located at Highways 1A and 93, this Banff hostel offers BBQ facilities for guest use. --Linens are included in all dormitory rooms--. Elizabeth was a fantastic host. She made us feel like family and we really appreciate her local guidance and care about all guests.

Located in Banff centre, this hostel provides free WiFi in all rooms. Mount Norquay Ski Resort is 15 minutes’ drive away. Not too expensive for a place like Banff, the rooms are very comfy and clean! 10/10

Located on Banff National Park, this hostel is just 5 minutes’ walk from Banff’s shops and bars. Amazing atmosphere. The hostel's bar is a great place to meet like minded travellers. The staff is super helpful and super fun to hang out with also. Location is perfect, and you have all the perks you could want (free breakfast, laundary service etc). Rooms are comfy and the shower is great

Located in Canmore and with The Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies reachable within 26 km, PARTY HOSTEL - The Canmore Hotel Hostel provides concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a restaurant, free... Excellent staff, went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The room and communal areas were exceptionally clean. Amenities provided were more than sufficient given the price and location. Overall a great hostel. Would recommend to anyone.

Located 20 minutes’ drive from Lake Louise in an isolated setting, this hostel offers shared kitchen facilities and a wood heated sauna. Cross-country and backcountry skiing are available on site. It was waaay beyond my expectations - even though it's right next to the Icefield Parkway it gives you the feeling of remoteness and kinda going "back to the basics" - no shower, very limited internet access, in the middle of the woods, next to a beautiful river and also includes a sauna. The manager makes it even more moemorable with his dedication, passion, knowledge of the area and sense of humor ;-)
