Granville Hall Residence is located in downtown Halifax. It is a student residence which rents rooms to the public when the students are away. Halifax Seaport Farmers' Market is 1 km away. Location is amazing especially if you're travelling alone. Way nicer than my university res (shoutout McGill) and everything including all the bathrooms were spotless (not even a piece of hair left on the shower wall). Not having a physical key is great too.

University of King's College offers comfortable dormitory-style accommodations in Halifax. Rooms are located in Alexandra Hall and Chapel Bay residences. Most rooms have shared bathroom facilities. I liked the location(it is close to restaurants,parks,town and bars).it’s very clean and quiet.The staffs were very friendly and helpful.

Dalhousie University is located in the city centre of Halifax. The simply furnished accommodation features free WiFi access throughout. Each room at Dalhousie University offers a desk and wardrobe. Clean, spacious university dorms. Beds are squeaky, but comfortable. Convenient location! We walked everywhere. Food near the university is cheaper than the tourist area by the waterfront.

Located on the Mount Saint Vincent University campus, this property provides free Wi-Fi and a full kitchen, which includes a microwave, fridge, toaster, kitchenware and stove in the 4-bedroom... I liked having a kitchen and access to a washing machine. Also being able to check in late.

Offering a restaurant and a fitness centre, Dalhousie University Agricultural Campus Conference Services and Summer Accommodations is located in Truro. Cool historical buildings, beautiful grounds. Free laundry was a bonus! The dining hall provided good affordable food.
