I normally do not leave reviews but this was an exceptional stay and I wanted to express my gratitude to the staff of the hostel based on my experience. The members of the staff were extremely accommodating and helpful when I checked in. I notified them earlier of my early morning arrival and they responded that while check-in would be after lunch, they would have coffee and I could rest on the couch. They also said I could leave my stuff should I leave. When I arrived, they did have coffee and the lady at the reception checked if she could check me in earlier, and they did. I enjoyed the breakfast and it was very filling. The bed was very comfortable and they provide more blankets than you'll need. There was also a locker, with a lot of space to leave both of my backpacks. Even though I only stayed one night, they were kind enough to keep my luggage when I went to the southern part of the country. I really wanted to stay here when I got back from the south but there were no more available rooms/beds when I tried booking. If/When I come back, I definitely will book here again.

The bathroom was bigger than any hostel I have been in and extremely clean and well equipped. The room was big, comfortable and well equipped. Kitchen has everything you might need during your stay. I was also allowed to check in early and have a late checkout which helped tremendously as I arrived very early in the city. Staff was extremely friendly and willing to help with anything, including giving some tips on transportation and where to eat. Would definitely stay there again if I return to the city!

Very warm greeting, we were offered a cold or warm drink and Pamela gave us a tour of the house. The breakfast was perfect. Pamela brought a tray to our room with juice, hot breakfast and coffee.

Highly recommend staying here should you wish to stay at a hostel in Santiago. Although it is said that this area has become less safe due to the recent situation in chile Jean guided us on the dos and don’ts and we felt very safe.

Located in the trendy neighbourhoood of Providencia in Santiago, Aji Hostel is a cheerful hostel featuring accommodation with free WiFi access. Everything! Staff is extremely friendly, and management was very helpful when i had issues with travel and had to change my booking. They really care about their guests! Very good atmosphere, great location - safe and quiet but very close to the metro and Providencia bars and restaurants - and very clean rooms! Free breakfast is a big plus, and there's a very social and welcoming atmosphere. Would definitely stay again if in Santiago!
