After visiting Costeño Beach, we had low expectations regarding staff friendliness. However, we were welcomed with a big smile from every person at this hostel. The facilities are very clean and the details in this hostel make the experience very complete (free earplugs, repelant dispenser, etc). The hostel has activities every day so you can choose what to do. The private room was spacious and comfortable. The terrace and the pool are a big plus. It is loud until midnight but it didn't bother us. All in all, a perfect place to enjoy your time in Santa Marta

Really nice experience in Hostel Vista Verde! I only stayed 1 night but would’ve loved staying more nights there! I needed a room with 2 beds. The unit that was given to me included 2 queen size beds, with its pillows, sheets, and a covering against mosquitos (but it was not needed! The unit was clean and cozy, and the price was really good! The staff was amazing, Julia the owner was really nice, Steffany the cook, prepared a delicious dinner, and all the staff was nice, even Jualia’s son was quite adorable and has my name “Alvaro”. The hostel is around 45 min away from town, and you gotta climb a lot of hills, but it is worth the experience. In general I’d recommend this hotel!

Outstanding location, in the middle of the jungle ! Spectacular views, staying in a tree house. Great food, amazing staff, good vibes.

Located in El Zaino, La Finca Lorena Tayrona features a garden, terrace, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. Arrived at finca late, I came dying the low season so I was the only person there. As someone with very little Spanish and having been dropped off in the woods by a motor taxi across a river. (they're safe don't worry). I was a little skeptical and thinking "where the hell am I". I was quickly brought to my dorm room, no one was there - after coming from parting in Cali this was needed. I basically paid £9 or 45,000 pesos for a private ensuite Gonzalo looked after me and we had conversations through Google translate. He was so accommodating. Doing laundry, being attentive with delicious food. I would most certainly come back again. Remember to being cash - as most places in Tayrona take cash only. La Fonda were very accommodating and took care and so did Tayrona entrance I'd recommend this place to anyone, it is the essence on tranquil

Located in Santa Marta, less than 1 km from Bahía de Santa Marta Beach, Imagine hostel features air-conditioned rooms and a bar. A hot tub and a bicycle rental service are available for guests. The hostel is super nice and cozy. It is well located in the centre of Santa Marta. The private room I stayed in was very spacious and confortable and Ac worked very well. Free breakfast was tasty and satisfying. The staff and owner are so friendly that they make you feel at home. The atmosphere and vibes are great! Highly recommended!
