The good feel of old hippy times, but with 5 star facilities. Excellent warm showers! On the south end of Luxor, under ten minutes by taxi (50-100 EGP) in a quiet mosk free area with a square where local kids play later in the day. Easy to mix up with them.

Taxis and horse carriages are always available at the end of the street, as well as the ferry and sailboat ports that are all 3 to 5 minutes walk from the hotel. And you can walk to Karnak Museum in 25 minutes. The place is very clean, lovely and cozy with a simple and nice decoration. The breakfasts that Mrs. Adel prepares are amazing, and makes you more than full for the day long, with his little boy Muhammed they make your day sunny with a full smile. Mohaz is helpful with everything you need, and off course, Mr. Omar, the manager of the place is a beautiful kind person with the best English that you may find around and he is eager to arrange your travel needs in minutes. As if it’s all is not enough, there is also a beautiful restaurant downstairs 😊. What else you can expect from a small hotel in Luxor?

The family is very kind, and your tourist money will make a direct impact. You'll be close enough to walk to several tombs/monuments, a longish walk but doable. The rooms are comfortable, family will prepare any meals you like.

Located in the village of El Gezira, Ramsess Hotel offers rooms with air conditioning and satellite TV. The public ferry on the west bank of the Nile is just minutes away. I love this hostel, such a comfortable environment and the staff are extremely helpful. Everything from tours, taxis, great breakfast, and walking with me to find the best places to eat, truly top notch.

The staff was very helpful and kind. My flight arrived late at night and departed early in the morning. They helped me arrange a taxi both times and gave me fair prices! They also helped with a tour to the valley of the kings. Overall they were honest and helpful, I felt welcomed and safe.

Venus Hostel is just a 5-minute walk away from Luxor Temple. The staff can arrange for bicycle rental and car hire. All rooms at Venus Hostel comes with a balcony or a window overlooking the city. Everything was perfect! Great service!!?

Located 800 metres from Luxor Temple, Fontana Luxor Hostel offers simply furnished accommodation and a restaurant. Luxor International Airport is 6 km away. The staff(mahmoud specially) is super helpful and so friendly, they did their best to satisfy me, the bad was comfy.with a fair price.definitely will stay there again Visitor from mexico
