I absolutely loved it and being there was like in museum - you should choose this place to experience it. We had really big room - staff didn't speak much english but were always helpfull (no problem to drop our bags and use bathroom early in the morning before check in) and place was clean (floor in the bathroom was always dry even shower was open so it proves they really care about the place)

Abeer Hotel Alexandria is located directly on the Mediterranean sea of the old Greek harbor of Alexandria in one of the oldest neighborhoods of Downtown. if you get a slightly upgraded room they’re pretty clean and great value for money. Good for overnight emergency/travel stays when you need to be downtown. staff are friendly. entrance is more scary than the hotel actually is-I only found out about it through a local I met otherwise I would’ve never tried. make sure to go to 7th floor when you reach the building bc that’s not obvious. At the low price don’t expect 4-5 star service…it’s a fresh bed and a toilet and smoker-friendly and not a hostel that you have to share.
