Despite the location is a bit far from the train station, it didn't bother me since they drove me to the station. Very clean and cosy place and good amenities.

The owner is an old lady who is very nice. Great location, very close to the station, restaurants and convenience stores. There's a private onsen within the inn that each group can use during 30 minutes. The facilities are old but clean and comfortable (I stayed in a room with western style beds)

日本旅館 松亀荘 is located in Beppu, within 20 km of Oita Bank Dome and 12 km of Oita Station. The property is around 23 km from Kinrinko Lake, 2.4 km from B-Con Plaza and 2.6 km from Beppu Park. Location was great and room was very comfy. We love the Japanese style ryokan. The facility also has its own onsen and laundromat machines so everything was quite convenient.
