Newly opened and refurbished in October 2020, Wanderlust NZ is a waterfront hostel located in a historical building in downtown Tauranga. The staff is brilliant. Amazing balcony to appreciate the sunrise and sunset. Really comfortable beds. Clean and safe.

Located on a quiet street opposite Blake Park, Seagulls Guesthouse offers free fibre WiFi and is a 5-minute walk from Mount Maunganui Beach. Excellent value for money. Spotlessly clean and very quiet. Only complaint is the pillows are quiet hard. We would definately stay again.

Located in Mount Maunganui, Pacific Coast Lodge and Backpackers is an award-winning hostel, located at 500 metres from the beach and next to Blake park. really clean bathrooms that were regularly cleaned and friendly staff

The centrally located Rock Solid Backpackers Rotorua offers free WiFi, a neighboring rock-climbing wall and a spacious guest lounge including a tour desk, a billiards table and a cinema. The facilities are great, spacious, and clean, the rooms are comfy, and the staff is amazing, just make us feel at home! (even though I got there to check in 5 minutes before they close, sorry guys 😬) And Thank you all :)

The lady at check in was very nice and friendly. Bathrooms and showers were very private and clean. Everything was small but enough room to be comfortable. Extremely fast and reliable WIFI.

This place definitely exceeded my expectations... 😁 Bed was comfortable, staff were friendly and welcoming, kitchen facilities were well appointed, well-priced and the location, directly opposite the police station and right in town... 👍

Mount Backpackers is a 2-minute walk from Mount Maunganui Beach and a 10-minute drive from Tauranga Airport. It offers affordable accommodation with free Wi-Fi, BBQ facilities and a shared kitchen. Haka House Rotorua is located next to Kuirau Park which features geothermal activity. Everything was awesome there! The friendly staff let us check-in a bit earlier and then we could store our luggage after the check-out. The room itself was fun because it was basically like a tiny house with a huge bed and a very clean bathroom. The wifi was ok, the kitchen was fully equipped and the location of that place is great. I have zero complaints and would definitely book with them again!
