Manowhenua Lodge ligger i nationalparken, under 16 km fra Mount Ruapehu og 17 km fra Taranaki-vandfaldene. Thomas and Tracy are great people. They help you with whatever you need and they welcome you warmly in their place. It was really easy to book shuttle and carparking for Tongariro with them. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and homey. You can play a lot of games at lobby and watch netflix. This was highlight of staying in NZ, lovely place with lovely people :)

The Crossing Lodge & Backpackers ligger i Erua, under 21 km fra Mount Ruapehu og 22 km fra Taranaki-vandfaldene. We had all the basic for an accomodation - heater, gas, refrigerator, etc. The rooms were very clean and tidy. The owner is very accomodating to our needs.

Slalom Lodge ligger i Raurimu, 21 km fra Mount Ruapehu, og tilbyder indkvartering med have, gratis privat parkering, fælles opholdsstue og restaurant. Receptionist was very kind. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen is nice big and clean.
