This is a home shared by a wonderful family that are so inviting and hospitable. I had only planned on staying a few days, but ended up being there for over a week and it honestly felt like I was 'home.' This place does not have all the fancy amenities you can find in a hotel, but if you don't care about that nonsense and are only visiting Chacapoyas to see the sites, then I can't recommend this place enough.

He showed us around in town, shared some hikes with us, created a really nice breakfast and he even joined us to hike to Kuélap. It was great we could use the fresh organic herbs in the garden and use the rice cooker. The beds were super comfy and the shared bathroom (that was basically private as there were nog other guests) was always clean.

The nearest airport is Chachapoyas Airport, 5 km from the hostel. Really nice place to stay. Stuff is very friendly and helpful. The hostel has a lot of community rooms where to hang out and relax. The area is quiet and shops are close. Very good time with a lot of nice travellers I met there!
